With a talent to do hair that seems to come naturally to him, one would think this was the path he was always set unto, but the Fine Arts & Design graduate from UST shares that his first love has always been fashion.

Co-presented by RLC Residences, this year’s MEGA Fashion Awards (MFA) Hairstylist of the Year was already an industry favorite when he gained mainstream recognition thanks to his work with Miss Universe. Pangilinan trained then Miss Universe hopeful Pia Wurtzbach for the competition. From the sleek updos to the long shining hair that the queen wore on stage, Pangilinan is one of the reasons why Wurtzbach was a picture of royalty when she took home the crown.
