Traveling to the States? Here are five department stores you can go to for your luxury retail therapy

When it comes to traveling outside the country, we can’t deny the need to shop for pieces that catch our eyes as we scan through endless aisles of stylish items. For the avid travelers, they might already have a list of things to buy but one can’t help but grab something out of impulse, especially if they’re on discount.

Fortunately, traveling to the States can only mean one thing—discounted designer items. While some may be out of season, it’s best to keep an eye out for pieces with major price drops. So if you’re planning to do some retail therapy, here are seven stores you can go to that have designer pieces sold at a lower price.

Saks Off The Fifth

A sister brand of Saks Fifth Avenue, most of the excess inventory from the department store are transferred to Saks Off the Fifth which are sold with a discounted price that ranges from 40%-60% in wholesale value.

Nordstrom Rack

Just like Saks Off the Fifth, Nordstrom Rack is the off-price division of Nordstrom that offers discounted luxury items that go up to 70%. You can shop designer brands such Burberry, Calvin Klein, and Fendi in Nordstrom Rack.

Macy’s Backstage

You’ve probably seen Macy’s a couple times in some chick flicks, and we’re here to tell you that they also have an off-price division with items that are on-trend.

Bloomingdale’s The Outlet

From wardrobe essentials to statement pieces, we can trust Bloomingdale’s The Outlet to offer us stylish pieces with a major price drop like the combat boots from Stuart Weitzman.

Marshalls

This department store is probably one of the must visit places for tourists since they have branches spread out across the continent. Marshalls house luxury brands like Cole Haan and Givenchy.
