After months of waiting for the sequel, Maleficent 2 is finally here. To celebrate it, we take a closer look at all the memorable looks of the female leads.

The powerful, deliciously decadent, and dangerous fairy living in the Moors is back, and she sure does know how to make a fashionable comeback. But apart from her, there are other characters that wouldn’t go unnoticed given their fantastic and opulent sartorial taste. From Princess Aurora’s exquisitely ethereal taste to Queen Ingrith’s jaw-dropping lavish jewelry, the audience get a glimpse of what royalty truly looks like. Here are all the memorable looks in Maleficent 2: Mistress of Evil.

Princess Aurora during Prince Philip’s Proposal

Since Princess Aurora rules over the Moors—thanks to Maleficent’s anointing—the majority of her looks require a surreal boho-chic approach. From But amongst all her delicately, dainty flowy dresses, it was the pastel blue sheer lace dress she donned when Prince Philip proposed that had us swooning in collective awe.


Maleficent During The War

Days before the war, Maleficent was injured due to a bullet shot from a crossbow. While that case may be, she still made it just in time to fight back against Queen Ingrith’s army. Aurora’s ever-powerful godmother arrived to war in what looked like a feathered body-hugging black ensemble, which featured an other-worldly impression of camo-like detailing across the bodice to impeccably send a message across that she won’t be messed around with—or defeated this time.


Queen Ingrith’s War Armor

When you’re the queen, the people expect nothing less than extravagance when it comes to fashion and beauty. So, for her big task in killing all of the creatures of the Moor, she channeled the opulence reminiscent and in reference of the Romanov Dynasty. She wore a breathtaking white printed gown that’s heavily embellished with diamonds and pearls. To finish her look, she wore a tiered pearl hair accessory and a crown—she’s the queen, after all.


BONUS: Maleficent’s Reincarnation

We all know Maleficent is fierce in all aspect—from how she said no to Aurora’s wedding to defeating a whole army. But even if that was the case, she still was able to effortlessly leave everyone dumbfounded as she was reincarnated. Donning a ravishing black lace dress punctuated by razor sharp edges and an enviable wing span to match, she was without a doubt a force to be reckoned with.
