Watch The Country’s First Interactive Digital Lights and Sound Show

By

You don’t have to sit through traffic to be able to experience the annual Christmas event at Ayala Triangle Gardens anymore. Ayala Land’s well-known lights and sound exhibition is going virtual and becoming the first in the country with a 360-degree video and much more.

There’s nothing that can stop Filipinos from feeling the Christmas spirit, so it’s time to put on some Christmas tunes and start filling up our night with magical colorful lights. One tradition that made its way into the hearts of many Filipino families is heading to the bustling city of Makati to experience the annual Christmas dancing lights and sound show at Ayala Triangle Gardens. But similar to many of our traditions this year, it had to adapt to the current situation.

Making the best out of the holiday season no matter where we are, Ayala Land is by showing us how we can rediscover gatherings by bringing to life the country’s first interactive digital lights and sound show that we can enjoy safely at the comfort of our own homes.

“For this reason, Ayala Land and Make It Makati decided to continue the annual tradition by bringing the show through digital channels. We want the event to spark hope among Filipinos—hope that will help them remember that brighter days lie ahead for all of us,” shares Mel Ignacio, Head of Makati Estate, Ayala Land.

Where To Watch

A first in the country, the show was made possible with a collaboration between Globe Studios and filmmaker, Quark Henares. Inspired to make Filipinos feel the same spirit of the holidays and introduce a new kind of celebration with safety in mind, he and his team transformed Ayala’s Christmas light show into a complete 360-degree animated video. It is complete with lasers, string lights, fireworks, as well as creative holograms, dancing to well-loved local artist Reese Lansangan’s rendition of traditional songs like Oh Holy Night and Jingle Bells. The interactive video will surely make you feel like you’re just at the center of the show.

The Festival of Lights 2020, Lights and Sound Show Virtual Edition is now available on the social media accounts of Ayala Land and Make It Makati including their Facebook page.

Virtual Festivities

The celebration doesn’t only end there because aside from the 360-degree video, various light show-themed Instagram filters will also be available so you can share the fun with your family and friends. A Finders Keepers contest will also happen every week in December. By simply spotting a hidden element in the virtual light show, you can win a special present from Ayala.
