The Enciso sisters are all paired up! After a beautiful Sex And The City inspired wedding for Vern and her husband, it’s time for her younger sister to follow suit. Verniece Enciso is now engaged to her long time boyfriend, James Dichaves. The engagement was announced on the personal Instagram and Facebook accounts of Vern and Verniece. All of which happened during a planned Palawan trip of the couple over the weekend.

Little did Verniece know that everything was planned by James, Vern, and and Kat Lazada. In a detailed account of the festivities on YouTube, James shared how he was able to plan for the engagement months prior to popping the question.

They added a special twist to the engagement by taking inspiration from Verniece’s love for K-Drama. According to Vern, her sister is a big fan of Crash Landing On You, specifically lead actresss, Son Ye Jin. Coincidentally, Son Ye Jin recently got married to her co-star, Hyun Bin, this year. Their star-studded celebration was named the wedding of the year in South Korea.

Fans of the K-Drama were quick to recreate the wedding for their own special day. Since Verniece is already a big fan, Vern thought it would be a great idea to collaborate with designer, Patricia Santos, for Verniece’s engagement look. They took inspiration from Son Ye Jin’s wedding gown, but toned it down to make it suitable for the engagement.

The dress features a full length skirt with a corseted bustier finished off with mesh detailing. The couple’s love for watching K-Dramas together makes the dress all the more sentimental for Verniece. We can’t wait to see what the two have planned for their actual wedding–– whether or not they’ll push through with the K-Drama concept.
