Bea Alonzo is officially a Spanish resident! But the costly move is a lot more expensive than we thought. Find out how much she spent

It’s safe to say that it’s Bea Alonzo’s year. She has landed numerous endorsements, changed networks, grown her YouTube channel, and is still head over heels in love with her partner, Dominic Roque. Everything’s going Bea’s way, but it wasn’t always like this. The blockbuster star has gone through long working nights on set and a rocky breakup with her former boyfriend, Gerald Anderson. Although, despite all this, the actress was able to rise up from the challenges and pull through.

Now, she is enjoying her newest success—becoming a resident of Spain. In a recent YouTube vlog and a few IG Reels, Alonzo revealed her long-awaited plan to buy a property in Spain. This might come as a shock to many, but she has been an investor in property for quite some time now. She even has a 16-hectare self-sustaining farm in Zambales, where she frequents to visit her family.

There are many perks in investing in property. First of all, you’ll have monthly income from leased properties. Secondly, land can only appreciate over time, thus making you more money when you decide to sell it in the future. A bonus could be becoming a citizen in a foreign country. With this particular benefit, you can change your passport and enjoy special government privileges in your resident country.

This may sound all well and good, but it does come with a hefty price. Bea Alonzo reportedly spent around PHP 30 million to buy the property in Madrid, Spain, and the average price of the property she purchased is around EUR 500,000. This property purchase is not only a great business move for the actress, but it has also helped her gain residency in Spain. Maybe we’ll see more Europe-filled content from her after she settles in her new place! A fully furnished apartment tour on her YouTube channel, perhaps?
