What’s a classic Old Hollywood Glam theme without pairings that make a mark on the red carpet?

Old Hollywood did not just impart classics in film and television, but also in the world of fashion and beauty. From fur coats, feather boas, and square necklines to finger waves, red lips, and jaw-dropping jewelry, these trends have lived on until today.

But from time immemorial, sharing the spotlight with a better half is one that will never go out of style.

In tonight’s GMA Thanksgiving Gala, the network’s artists and personalities proved that they are indeed stars with their own interpretations of Old Hollywood Glam.

With that said, here are the pairings who understood that in channeling timeless glamour, it takes two to tango:

Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos

Watching the couple rock the red carpet together in their black and white pieces is a big déjà vu moment for any fan who knows they actually met in a formal event! While Gabbi opted for an empire-cut, flowy number from Vania Romoff, Khalil went for a more structured tuxedo from Joey Samson

Ysabel Ortega and Miguel Tan Felix

According to the Sparkle Sweethearts, they chose to channel some blast from the past with their looks. Ysabel embodied the grace of one Audrey Hepburn with her modern interpretation of the actress’s famous updo—elevating her shimmering, white gown from Val Taguba.  Meanwhile, Miguel Tan Felix gave a twist to Al Pacino’s v-neckline moment in Scarface with his outfit courtesy of Michael Cinco

Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi

You know you can trust Team Dimples to bring flair without any hint of ostentation. Kyline is sophistication personified with her embellished David Koma gown and Steph Tan off-shoulder, bell-sleeved cape. Keeping their connection in check even in style, Mavy donned a Francis Libiran suit with a Chanel crystal silver and crystal brooch.

Carmina Villaroel-Legaspi and Zoren Legaspi

If good looks are hereditary, then so is dressing up with class. The couple—parents of twins Mavy and Cassy—matched in their black and white ensembles designed by Francis Libiran. The bow added elegance to the simplicity of Carmina’s dress.

Billy Crawford and Coleen Garcia

This couple’s glamour gaming is stronger than ever! Billy kept his signature affinity for loose clothing with a structured suit from Neric Beltran. Coleen is nothing short of chic with a monochrome Jessica Rabbit-esque ensemble courtesy of a Russel May Cordero beaded sweetheart-cut gown and tantalizing jewelry from Diagold

Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz

If their performances are always on another level, so are Rayver and Julie’s looks for tonight. The former mentioned in his red carpet interview that his sleek, Francis Libiran suit had a touch of Rayver. Meanwhile, Julie Anne reinterpreted the feather trend with a Mark Bumgarner creation and a statement necklace from Diagold

Hayden Kho and Scarlet Snow Belo

Dr. Vicki Belo may not be around to be her husband’s date, but her substitute is just as fabulous as her—clad in no less than a Marchesa dress. Of course, it had to pass Dr. Vicki’s style standards! Scarlet was the cutest flapper girl date to her father who elevated his suit with a dainty Tiffany and Co. brooch. Here’s to more red carpet moments with this duo!

Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero

A sure-slay in any day, Heart fell in love with this piece from Ashi. Always proud of her identity, she recalled how she chose the piece—to her, the sleeves resembled the butterfly effect of our Filipiniana.

Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque

In their first red carpet together as a couple, Bea and Dominic opted for timeless pieces—making black as their base. While Dominic chose a classic suit cut, Bea resurrected the beauty of a 24-year-old fringed Christian Dior number (designed by John Galliano) with a one-shoulder cape accompaniment from Rajo Laurel

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes

Last but definitely not the least, the Couple of the Night dominated the red carpet in their designer wear. Marian looked tres chic in the pleated tulle ball gown from Ralph and Russo; while Dingdong was a dashing debonair in his Armani suit and red rose boutonnière accent. The perfect way to seal their moment? A kiss caught on camera!
