The list of winners for the 2018 Oscars are out—and so is the list of our favorite beauty looks! Here, we have compiled our favorites and added a special bonus: 5 talented local makeup artists to help you achieve each look.
1. Dramatic Metallic Eye
With a healthy, glowing skin and a glossy nude lippie, the focus of Lupita Nyong’O’s look goes to her dramatic metallic eyes. If you want to stand out on a night out, this look will definitely do the trick.
Makeup artist to look for: Anton Patdu (@antonpatdu)
While he is known for creating a variety of looks, Anton does dramatic eye makeup exceptionally well. Whether it is a loud color or a playful texture on the eyes, his looks always tell a unique story.

2. Smokey and Sultry
During the Oscars, nobody did sultry quite like Zendaya. From the classic smokey eye makeup to her perfectly-applied bronzer and highlight, the look definitely brought out her face structure.
Makeup artist to look for: Anthea Bueno (@antheabueno)
If we were to pick a local makeup artist that has mastered the bronzed and the smokey eye combo, Anthea automatically comes to mind. Whether it be for the day or for a night out, the result of her looks always turn heads.
3. Skin is In
Letting your skin take center stage is a very popular move these days, as we can see on celebrities such as Saoirse Ronan. Rather than piling on the makeup, the focus is on what truly matters: healthy, glowing skin.
Makeup artist to look for: Mark Qua (@mkqua)
Mark has been gaining attention for his barely-there makeup looks, as seen on his muses such as Elisse Joson. He is showing us that no matter your look for the day, it is clear, healthy skin that really deserves to be on the spotlight.
4. Next-Level Cat Eye
easily level up the look by drawing your liner a little farther out, as shown by the glamorous Taylor Hill. The result? Dramatic and definitely seductive.
Makeup artist to look for: Bobby Carlos (@im_bobbycarlos)
Who says anything too out-there is off-limits? Known for his mastery of edgy looks, makeup artist and teacher Bobby will surely give you the dramatic cat eye of your dreams.

5. Blushing Beauty
Emma Stone is always known for her fresh red carpet looks, but for this year’s Oscars, she takes it up a notch and goes with pinks that flatter her fair complexion. These aren’t just meant on the lips though—we can see the same shade on her eyes and cheeks as well.
Makeup artist to look for: Katchie Mejias (@katchmejias)
Known for her numerous editorials and for putting smiles on brides’ faces, makeup artist and hairstylist Katchie has long perfected that feminine glow. As she has this as her specialty, replicating Emma’s look will surely be no problem.
