It’s that time of the year again where you’ll be falling in line to get a piece of the covetable limited-edition pieces from H&M’s designer collaboration. Following the footsteps of high fashion labels like Moschino, Balmain, Kenzo, and Alexander Wang, is none other than the Paris-based master of romance, beauty and sophistication, Giambattista Valli.
The news first came out on May 23rd this year at the amfAR gala in Cannes where we witnessed celebrities such as Kendall Jenner, Ross Lynch, and H.E.R. aka Gabriella Wilson together with Giamba himself who all attended the event.
Moreover, it was actually there when the world got its first sneak peek of the exciting collaboration full of stylish twists and turns—from his signature frothy tulle dresses to his first foray into menswear. The stars were dressed in glamorous must-have pieces from a unique limited edition pre-drop collection.
But following the success of the pre-drop collection, the special collaborative capsule is about to be released—and Manila is included. “I am excited about this collaboration: H&M gives me the opportunity to bring my vision of style and my celebration of beauty to a wider audience,” Giambattista Valli said. “The goal is to share my love for beauty and to be able to be part of everyone’s ‘happy moments,’ to help create love stories all around the world.”
And true to his words, this capsule will easily make you fall in love with the dainty tulle dresses. In fact, supermodel Kendall Jenner even shares the same sentiments. “I love the dramatic yet accessible silhouettes of Giambattista Valli x H&M collection. They make me feel powerful and effortless, which is what being fabulous is all about in my opinion,” she explained. “It’s also the personal touches throughout the collection that make me really connect to the pieces. It’s like wearing a little piece of Giamba himself!”
