Seiko 3rd Philippine Limited Edition Prospex watch
Limited to only 1,000 pieces, Seiko’s 3rd Philippine Limited Edition Prospex watch is an homage to the Philippine eagle by specially making the watch suited for the outdoors. The brand guarantees the watch will perform reliably under any condition as it carries a 6R35 caliber, has a water resistance of up to 200 meters, and has approximately 70 hours of power reserve. Apart from that, this watch has a three-fold clasp with a secure lock, is automatic with manual winding capacity, and is encased in stainless steel with a sapphire crystal face.
Worth noting is the brand’s commitment to making a positive change through this limited edition watch. Seiko further pays tribute to the country’s critically endangered national bird by partnering with the Philippine Eagle Foundation to adopt a rescue from Davao named Eiko. According to Seiko, part of the proceeds of the sales from the 2022 Philippine Limited Edition Prospex watch will go to the Philippine Eagle Foundation for the shelter, care, and food of Eiko. Unimatic Titanium Capsule
For this three-watch capsule, Unimatic uses grade II titanium, which allows a better mechanical stress resistance with approximately a 45% weight reduction when compared to stainless steel. Modello Uno GMT ref. U1S-TGMT comes in only 100 pieces worldwide, while both Modello Uno ref. U1S-T-MP and Modello Due ref. U2S-T-MP comes in at 500.
While made in Italy, Modello Uno and Modello Due have the Swiss-made automatic caliber Sellita SW200-1 movement and are tuned to 28,800bph with a 38-hour power reserve, guaranteeing timing accuracy. Additionally, Modello Uno and Modello Due have a 300-meter diving-grade water resistance and have anti-reflective coating on the inner side of the lens.
One of the key differences between Modello Uno and Modello Due is that the former has a 40mm case diameter with 2.5mm thick double-domed sapphire. In comparison, the latter has a 38.5mm case diameter with 2.7 mm thick ultra double-domed sapphire.
The third lightweight titanium watch in this collection—Modello Uno GMT—has a Swiss-made automatic GMT caliber ETA 2893 top-grade elaborè, a Titanium sandblasted case, exhibition case back sapphire crystal, and an engraved bezel insert. G-SHOCK collaborated with Sadanobu Gassan—one of the premiere swordsmiths in Japan—to add to the brand’s flagship MR-G series in honor of the brand’s 40th anniversary. Limited to only 500 pieces worldwide, the unique sports watch boasts 200-meter water resistance, sapphire crystal glass with glare-resistant coating, a mobile link feature, and a 150 to 205mm band size. It is also solar-powered, shock resistant, and magnetic-resistant.
The Japanese sword-inspired timepiece had its titanium band crafted by Gassan to resemble a tang. Not only did he hand-carve the watch band with yasuri-me patterns, but he also displayed 鍛 and 錬 inscriptions as a symbol of his family’s devotion to swordsmithing. Overseen by Gassan himself, Casio also created an all-new hybrid titanium bezel using recrystallized layers of pure and Ti64 titanium in order to replicate the Gassan family’s signature ayasugi-hada temper patterns.

Producing only 8,000 pieces worldwide, Tissot’s latest limited edition sports watch was crafted with motorbikes in mind as a tribute to the brand’s association with MotoGP™. The watch has water resistance for up to a pressure of 100 meters, a stainless steel case and strap material, and a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal surrounded by an aluminum bezel ring with an engraved case back. For its movement, Tissot utilizes Swiss quartz, a Renata 394 battery, along with SuperLuminova® on its dials and hands to improve visibility in the dark.

Another motorbike-inspired limited edition timepiece for you to consider is Bvlgari’s Aluminium Ducati Special Edition watch. Limited to only 1,000 pieces worldwide, Bvlgari collaborated with Ducati to create this exclusive luxury sports watch with red dials and indexes that are reminiscent of the Italian motorcycle brand’s aesthetic. Made from aluminum titanium, the watch has a 40mm diameter, automatic movement typology, chronograph function, rubber band material, and 100-meter water resistance.
