The Best Dressed Men at This Year’s Oscars

From Lenny Kravitz’s show-stopping look to Harry Shum Jr.’s kimono-inspired tuxedo, these are the best dressed men at the 2023 Oscars

While traditional black and white color palettes and conventional suits may seem mundane to some, men at the champagne-colored carpet at the 95th annual Academy Awards proved otherwise. Before the awards were even given out, these gentlemen wowed everyone with their impeccable attire showing that there are a variety of ways to put a modern spin on the classic tuxedo and most popular color combination.

Ram Charan sported a dapper new style in the three-piece traditional Indian outfit he wore, which was made of sleek black velvet. The buttons and the badge on his chest were fantastic touches, too. In an interview, the South Indian actor shared that he is proud to be there representing his heritage.

Just like his fellow Indian actor Ram Charan, N. T. Rama Rao Jr. proudly displayed his heritage in a sharp black jacket adorned with gold embroidery. He wore India’s history and culture on his sleeve—literally. “I have the tiger, the national animal of India here. It’s not going to be an actor from RRR who’s walking the carpet, but India that walks the carpet,” he mentioned.

Perhaps it isn’t true that only actors can turn heads when walking the runway. Dressed to the nines in a bespoke Prada suit and a studded shirt, tie, and black gloves, Belgian Close director Lukas Dhont looked just dashing at the Oscars. The Boucheron earrings and the hint of red were also lovely additions to his look.

Actor and director of Creed III Michael B. Jordan arrived at the Oscars looking suave in a Louis Vuitton double-breasted tuxedo with a satin lapel, but it was the flash of jewels that was the real show-stopper. Adorned in his lapel were a pink and green pair of Tiffany & Co.’s Bird on a Rock brooches.
