On October 23 and 24, Palacio de Memoria held a two-day Flea Market event that featured exquisite artworks, antiques, and pieces from various local galleries. Guests were also able to enjoy food and drinks served by The Loggia—the work of world-renowned Filipino chef Margarita Fores—and an open bar by Distileria Limtuaco and Don Papa.

Aside from their Flea Market, Palacio de Memoria continued the festivities on October 30, 2021. They held the Tertulia de Memoria, a day-long seminar series and soiree in which guests attended talks about history, art, and heritage appreciation, as well as participated in an acrylic painting workshop at the Tertulia.

After each of the aforementioned events held at Palacio de Memoria, they had a film viewing of restored classic Filipino films. The 1941 film “Ibong Adarna” and the iconic 1955 film “Biyaya ng Lupa” were shown at the Flea Market and the Tertulia de Memoria, respectively. On top of this, Leo Katigbak, Head of Film restoration at ABS-CBN, was present to give a short talk on the state of the film industry and to introduce the restored movies.

“We are grateful for the many avenues in which we can showcase our vast cinematic heritage,” said Katigbak. “We look forward to showing the present and future generations the classics of yesteryear, so that they will be preserved well in our memory.”

Throughout all of the exciting festivities, Smart Infinity was an integral part of the community. They had booths set up during the open-air Flea Market. In their booths, guests were able to experience Smart’s fastest 5G network for themselves, as well as avail the iPhone 12 Pro Max or the new iPhone 13 Pro through Smart Infinity’s Limitless and Traveler Plans, which provide unlimited data allocation, and calls and texts to all networks.

All in all, it was a great October for Palacio de Memoria and Smart Infinity. They were truly able to create such a wonderful community building experience for art and history lovers every where. “Smart Infinity’s presence at the Palacio de Memoria events, is how we, as a brand, connect luxury lifestyle experiences, and the power of technology, at these cultural showcases. We look forward to sharing with our members what we have in store for them next.” shares Sofia Borromeo Alvarez, Smart Infinity AVP and Brand Head.
