These MAC products will make you and your loved ones fabulously ready to take on the holidays
Christmas bells are ringing, which only means one thing–we are already in the midst of the season of giving where everyone is rushing to complete their holiday shopping for friends and family. But because a lot of people still have this conundrum of not knowing what to purchase, SM Shopmag and MAC Cosmetics came up with a great way to help and encourage everyone. Haute Holiday Gifts, a virtual holiday gifting event hosted by Kryz Uy last December 15, 2020, gave us a rundown of all the holy grail MAC products she uses, as well as the makeup brand’s latest holiday collection, Frosted Firework–all of which are ideal for gifting.

At the beginning of the episode, the beauty influencer shared, “I also really felt na for the first few months [of quarantine], I wasn’t making an effort because it made me feel so guilty to wear makeup when nobody would see me.” However, after 10 months in, she realized that putting makeup on and feeling good about yourself is also another way of self-care.
Go for glam even when you’re celebrating at home
Kryz kicked off her makeup look with MAC’s Prep + Prime Fix+ Mattifying Mist and Prep + Prime Lip to make sure her skin and lips are completely ready to take in all the makeup she will be applying. She finalized her base makeup with the Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and Studio Fix 24-Hour Smooth Wear Concealer. To add a pop of color to her base look, Kryz went in with MAC’s Powder Blush on the apples of her cheeks, and was followed by the Extra Dimension Skinfinish for a touch of sparkle.
For her eyebrows, she used the Veluxe Brow Liner and the Brow Set to guarantee that her brows stay on fleek from morning until night. Finishing off the eye look, Kryz applied the Dazzle Shadow Liquid on her eyelids, which she says is perfect for some extra shimmer during the holidays, and the Extended Play Gigablack Lash on her eyelashes.
To cap off the overall makeup look, she went with what she described as “the true star” of the event–a bullet lipstick in the shade Mull It Over from the Showstopper Powder Kiss Lipstick Set that’s part of the brand’s Frosted Firework Collection.
