Age Is Just A Number: 6 Showbiz Couples With Notable Age Gaps

By

It’s been said that age is just a number. With society being fully accepting of couples of different races, ages, and interests, it’s no wonder that even the showbiz world has its fair share of relationships with interesting age gaps.

Here are just some celebrity couples who’ve braved the difference and stayed in love through it all:

Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson – 8 years

Serving as the latest entry into the world of celebrity couples, Julia (24) and Gerald (32) share 8 years between them.

The couple met while shooting of Black Sheep Productions’ Between Maybes released in 2019.

Coleen Garcia-Crawford and Billy Crawford – 10 years

Before there was a baby Amari, Billy (38) and Coleen (28) met on the daily afternoon variety show It’s Showtime!

With a 10-year age gap between them, their youthful vibes and Instagram posts keep them looking fresh.

Heart Evangelista-Escudero and Gov. Chiz Escudero – 15 years

The world of politics and high-fashion so rarely clash, but the steady pairing of Heart (36) and Chiz (51) still make for a Chiz-y and sweet pairing.

The couple were introduced to each other by none other than the late Miriam Defensor-Santiago.

Mariel Rodriguez and Robin Padilla – 15 years

After a whirlwind romance, Mariel (36) and Robin (51) were wed at the Taj Mahal in 2010. They now have two daughters, Maria Isabella and Gabriela Padilla.

Similar to Billy and Coleen, this couple met on the afternoon variety show Wowowee.

Dr. Vicki Belo and Dr. Hayden Kho – 25 years

Despite some scandals from long ago, these two cosmetic surgeons have been keeping the love alive for over 15 years now!

Dr. Vicki (65) and Hayden (40) met while judging a beauty pageant for University of Santo Tomas’ Mr and Miss Medicine in 2006.

Pauleen Luna-Sotto and Vic Sotto – 34 years

The 34-year age gap may be too much for others, but Pauleen (32) and Vic (66) prove that love knows no bounds!

Despite being long-time Eat Bulaga! members, the two officially started after shooting the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry, Enteng ng Ina Mo.
