See Prominent Filipino Designers Convene at this Premiere Bridal Show

With the theme “Masters vs. Millennials,” this year’s first big fashion bridal event wrapped up Seda Vertis North’s premiere bridal fair last Sunday. Nineteen top-notch and relevant Filipino designers unveiled their show-stopping creations at the Entwine 2019 Face-Off Bridal Edition. Read more to see all the highlights from the show.

The runway started with Michael Leyva’s version of a modern Filipina bride.

The regal Venus Raj wowed the crowd as she sashayed down the runway to give justice to Mariella Garcia’s elegant piece.

Miss World Philippines Katarina Rodriguez  walked down the runway wearing Julianne Syjuco’s rendition of the classic romantic ball gown with exquisite beading and feathered detail on its bust.

Rajo Laurel showcased his work that features flowery beadwork with a light blue train.

Asia’s Next Top Model Maureen Wroblewitz walked down the runway in a crystal-embedded ball gown by Patricia Santos.

 

Vania Romoff took us back to the Renaissance with her vintage-inspired gown.

 

JC Buendia’s exceptional A-line gown covered with pearl-embellished capelet portrayed a modern look of Filipino fashion.

Rhett Eala uncovered his pleated and fringed column gowns in silver and in off-white, both with hand-painted trains.

Lulu Tan Gan highlighted her classic bridal wear using her signature piña fabric paired with purple flats.

Another highlight of the night is a tribute in memory of Cesar Gaupo, considered to be one of the designers who spearheaded the golden age of Philippine fashion. The part of the show featured some of his evening gowns.

Cary Santiago closed the bridal show featuring his silver gray and white gowns from his stunning avian-inspired bridal collection that was definitely, a sight to behold. Aside from the bridal show, Seda Vertis North also gathered fifty of the top wedding planners and suppliers in the country together with several wedding specialists. Partners and specialists helped engaged couples with all the preparations they needed for their upcoming wedding.
