El Nido, Palawan
You’re never gonna run out of white sand to explore in El Nido with about 50 beaches around the area. You can also wander through its mysterious caves, and enjoy the island’s rich marine ecosystem perfect for snorkeling.
Panglao Island, Bohol
Alona Beach offers just as much as Boracay (only more laid back and serene) with the convenience of resorts, restaurants, and bars. But if you’re looking for an even less crowded paradise, head over to Dumaluan Beach, just 30 minutes away from Alona. You can walk barefoot, sit back, relax, and even sleep in its long stretch of powdery sand!
Salagdoong Beach, Siquijor
Calling out all daredevils and thrill-seekers! Salagdoong Beach might just be the escape you’re looking for. Though relatively smaller than the other beaches in the list, Salagdoong Island can surely keep your stay crazy fun with a waterslide and cliff diving spots that are just bonuses to the clear water and white sand.
White Island, Camiguin
Enjoy all of White Island in all its glorious nakedness while basking under the hot summer sun. Go through 102 kilometers of white sand surrounded by crystal clear water in a 20-minute walk. You can also hire an umbrella for P50 if you need a little more protection from the sun.
