Like a much-needed breath of fresh air, Jun Escario’s runway offerings at Manila Fashion Fest 2018 not only showcased the craftsmanship the designer has come to be known for, but also his immense versatility. From luxe resort pieces to beguiling evening gowns, Escario showed a wide range with his distinct take on glam with immaculately tailored ensembles in ivory, flowing jumpsuits in fiery red, and opulent gowns with strategic embellishments. A stark contrast to his playful take on pastels and feminine flounce last season, this collection proved that Jun Escario can channel old-school glamour his own way—seductive, decadent, and most importantly, masterfully done.
