Run for a cause in Marriot’s virtual marathon, Run To Give. Proceeds from the event will go to Save the Children Philippines.

The pandemic isn’t going to stop Marriot from holding their Run To Give marathon. The Marriot Worldwide Business Councils (MWBC) Philippines will be continuing their annual run virtually. Run To Give (RTG) is a Marriot International-initiated charity run that is part of their Take Care program. Last year’s Run To Give was a successful collaboration with Resorts World Manila’s Run with Me at the Mall of Asia Grounds. The event was well attended by celebrities and key personalities, such as: Lovi Poe, General Manager Anna Vergara of Sheraton Manila, Cluster General Manager and MWBC Philippines President Bruce Winton, General Manager Goeran Soelter of Clark Marriott, and CJ Javarata. 
This year anyone and everyone can participate in the virtual marathon. Instead of holding the event in person, participants will be running from wherever they are and recording their runs on a digital platform. If a participant would like to use up their kilometers in hiking, biking, or swimming, you may do so. Aside from this, runners may choose among four total mileage tracks. He or she may choose from 50 km, 100 km, 200 km, or 300 km. This will give the participants the freedom to finish the race whenever and however they like.
Run To Give’s goal for all participants is to accumulatively reach 40,040 km in 40 days. The more participants, the easier it is to reach the total goal. So, if you’re thinking of joining the marathon, then invite your friends and family to join you. 
In this virtual marathon, everyone’s a winner when you have the chance to help out others and achieve fitness. Additionally, each participant will receive an e-certificate of completion at the end of each challenge. Registration fees start at Php 500.
