Go Back In Time As Rumors Disco Invades Okada Manila

Remembering the old hustle and bustle of 1980s Manila will always give you that nostalgic feeling. Where the crowds flock to the hippest weekend destinations to dance and have fun. One of the biggest names one could remember would be Rumors Disco. Located at Makati, this place was once everybody’s go-to destination for the weekend. The place was packed as John Robinson mixed the trendiest songs of that era. What if you can actually go back to the glory days of Rumors and 1980’s disco pop? On Thursday, December 6, get ready as Rumors Goes To Okada!

As a fundraising effort by La Salle Green Hills Class ’73 and the Henry V. Moran Foundation, Rumors will take over the millennium at Okada Manila. featuring DJs Dickie Tan, Mao Lim, Ferdie Valdes, and John Robinson himself, relive the magic of the ’80s all for a good cause.

The event aims to support La Liga Eskwela, a nationwide public school Futsal program benefitting more than 300 schools, to-date. This will help children find their own place in the field of sports, particularly Futsal. With only a basketball court and a ball in requirement, any child can play this sport, promoting social skills, healthy mindset, and a positive lifestyle.
