Real-life doll

Pia Wurtzbach convinced the world that she is a real-life doll in her recent birthday shoot. The star, who just turned 33, unveiled two looks that were created with the help of her team consisting of Eldzs Meija, Perry Tabora, Mickey See, and Renz Pangilinan, and lensed by BJ Pascual. Channeling her inner Barbie, Pia’s look was grounded by a pink palette that was evident in her eyes and her lips. A notable mention includes her full bumper bangs that carried out the retro motif.

Alongside, she also debuted a Material Girl look. For this one, her pink palette was tempered down to a series of nudes and brown. Her almond brown lip captured our attention since it’s also one flattering shade that can suit any Filipino skin tone. Another standout includes her vintage-inspired curls that were punctuated with shaggy bangs.

Blonde ambition

It’s a given that at any shoot, a celebrity gets reimagined in a blonde format. But there is something about Pia Wurtzbach’s approach that made this look refreshing. In contrast to her platinum blonde wig, her beauty direction received a punk-meets-glam edit with a statement-making black eyeshadow. A nod to the kohl-rimmed times, both her upper lash and lower lid were defined with a bold eyeliner. Elsewhere, a barely-there nude lipstick rounded out the look.

Sultry Hollywood glam

Pia Wurtzbach embodied a sultry siren in her Vogue Gala look. Compared to the traditional glam, this approach used a technique that gives any wearer a lifted edit—an illusion of a smize. There is more than one way to recreate this eye look, but an easier take is to blend the eyeshadow in an upward direction to lift the eye shape. Lastly, draw an upward tilted cat eye with your trusted eyeliner, but for a smokey Bella Hadid-like finish, opt for a gel format.

Bare-skin beauty

The former Miss Universe is synonymous with several glamorous looks, but for this one, we take a nod to her bare-faced beauty. As part of the #AsShels challenge, she captioned, “Everyday, we all struggle to be comfortable with our imperfections. But today, I’m taking this picture to say hello to ME.” True to being confidently beautiful with a heart, she also invited everyone to be kinder to themselves, “Treat your face and your body as an instrument, not an ornament. An instrument to inspire, uplift, and encourage yourself and others who need it.”

The queen of all queens

Pia Wurtzbach is undoubtedly a Drag Race Philippines fan. In her recent guesting, her team gave her winning look a hyper-glam edit with the use of embellishments as an accent. The smokey black eyeshadow was the main star, while rhinestones were strategically placed in the shape of an eyeliner to help define her look. It’s definitely easy to recreate this, and absolutely ideal if you want to add a playful take on your eye makeup.
