Miss Universe Philippines chose P-Pop groups BGYO and BINI for the official songs in the preliminaries
The days leading to the coronation night of Miss Universe Philippines were packed with preliminary events such as the national costume, swimsuit, and evening gown competitions, and they have us all on the edge of our seats. Not only that, but the combined beauty and glamour of the candidates and their gowns were a total feast for our eyes; the provinces they represent are all surely beaming with pride. Throughout all of this, catchy songs played in the background and helped amp up our anticipation and excitement. Curious about the songs that had the ladies sashaying down the runway? Here are the songs from our rising P-Pop groups that the Miss Universe Philippines used in their preliminaries.
BGYO
The breakout P-pop boy group, BGYO, debuted their new track, “Kulay“,on September 23, which is their full Filipino song ever since they were launched in January. “Kulay” is the official song used for the national costume competition of the Miss Universe Philippines pageant.
BINI
P-Pop girl group, BINI, also showcased their talents to the Universe with their song “Born To Win” that was played on the Preliminary Swimsuit and Evening Gown Competitions. BINI will also perform a new spin on their song on the MUPH 2021 Coronation.
