While everything about eye makeup–from the laser focus needed when applying eyeliner to those last few coats of mascara–excites me, I don’t always feel like committing to lipstick. The thought of carefully re-applying the product the entire day is enough for me to want out, especially if I know I have a long day ahead of me. This is where another love of mine comes in: lip gloss.

Coming in a variety of shades–from flattering nudes to reds–this comfortable gloss from Dior subtly tints your lips while simultaneously giving it some sparkle.
4. Fresh Sugar Cream Lip Treatment
A little thicker than the others on this list, this lippie from Fresh is a lip treatment, a tinted cream and a gloss in one. Made with sugar, vitamins E and C and a moisturizing mix of oils, your chapped lips will be instantly softened, ending in a shiny finish.
5. Peripera Sugar Lip Glitter
Want something more playful? This lip gloss by cult favorite Korean brand Peripera doesn’t just give your lips shine, but visible specks of glitter as well. Another suggestion: use Sugar Lip Glitter on your eyelids if you want to bring your gloss to the next level.
