The leading smartphone brand’s latest ad left fans and social media followers of the phenomenal star, Maine Mendoza, guessing after a silhouette of her holding the Vivo V17 Pro circulated over the internet.
At a glance, it looked like a cover of a magazine or a poster for an upcoming movie. But it was a screengrab of Maine’s latest video for Vivo that made her adoring fans speculating when the new handset would be launched in the country. Thankfully, the long wait was over because it was made available in the market last October 19, 2019.
The screengrab was only a teaser. The top global brand released another video where Maine wore fashionable dresses and completed wacky fan-tweeted 17-second challenges like eating polvoron while reciting the alphabet, or stuffing marshmallows in her mouth.
Prior to this, Maine Mendoza was introduced as Vivo’s brand ambassador and endorser last May 2019 following the launch of Vivo V15 Pro and Blossom Pink special edition smartphones.
