Kicking off in Paris, the Spring 2018 Haute Couture season blessed our feeds with magical looks that always leave us in awe. A closer look at these collections would show us that it is indeed all in the detail, especially when it comes to beauty.
Here are our favorite beauty moments from the season:
1. Graphic Lashes
Sometimes, it is the smallest details that make the biggest statements. At Armani’s couture show, segmented false eyelashes were places against pastel eyeshadow, resulting in a feminine yet modern look.
2. Braided and bejeweled
Hair at the Alexis Mabille show gained attention for all the right reasons. Models had their hair braided in pigtails and secured at the end with chandelier earrings.
3. Neon Underliner
At the Iris Van Herpen show, models wore their hair slicked back to make way for the main attraction: a pop of neon underliner. Bold yet still wearable, the look can easily be replicated on nights out.
4. Glossy Skin
A healthy-looking glow is all the rage these days, and Giambattista Valli gets that enviable gloss just right. Properly moisturized and highlighted, the result is a natural sheen.
5. Throwback to the 80s
A matte face and fuchsia contour brought us back to the 80s at the Alexandre Vauthier show. Together with the line, the result was edgy and seductive.
