Michael Kors is celebrating yet another milestone as it finally launches its flagship store at the Dubai Mall. To celebrate KORS DUBAI, the New York label unveiled a portrait series of five style stars from the Middle East. But what really makes this portrait of particular interest is that upon looking closely, it’s noticeable that these style stars are toting a special-edition handbag.

Featuring model and humanitarian Jessica Kahawaty, model Lana Al Beik, and style influencers Leena Al-Ghouti, Ola Farahat, and Carla DiBello, all the girls on the photo are holding an admiral blue Whitney handbag.

First introduced in the summer of 2018, the Whitney handbag has become the newest iconic style of the label. Designed as a work-to-weekend bag, it combines sophisticated silhouettes with on-the-go versatility.
The small shoulder bag is offered in deep, rich admiral blue that is crafted from fine, panel-quilted lambskin. It also features sleek gold-tone hardware, including an adjustable, leather-and-chainlink shoulder strap. As for the subtle yet distinctive “M” shape on the front, it nods to the designer’s initial—a letter he’s been sketching since he was young.
Perfectly sized to carry essentials (phone, wallet, keys, and even lipsticks), the bag has a back zip pocket, front slip pocket, and a center zip compartment. After all, the best bags are as functional as they are posh.
