His Fall 2018 Collection Ad Campaign offered a modern take on the designer’s iconic jet set sensibility, as it featured the pleasure of personal style for women who love getting dressed and traveling at the same time.
“I wanted to capture the relaxed attitude that is today’s answer to jet set glamour,” Kors said. To capture this iconic vision of Michael Kors for his new campaign, was the renowned Dutch photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
Portraying the extravagance of high-flying, Kors’ ad campaign was set in a private jet framing the brand’s signature glamour and essential ease in a relaxed manner evoking the essence of jet set today.
The clothes and accessories embodied “the joy of fashion.” The wardrobe classics—a handknit Fair Isle sweater, lush faux fur jackets, a romantic, rose-print dress—are given luxe and unexpected twists, and then combined in an exuberant mix of florals, tartans, animal prints, and stripes.
Characterizing his collection will be our favorite thing to buy from Michael Kors. The accessories that includes mixed-media treatments of the Bancroft bag, boots, slides in leopard and zebra print while being heightened with the eclectic sensibility of the whole collection.
