MEGA’s Top Picks For Best Dressed At The 2021 Met Gala

By

All the stars showed up in their best and most daring looks for the 2021 Met Gala. Here are our top picks for best dressed.

Considered as fashion’s biggest night out, the stars truly went all out for their fashion looks at the 2021 Met Gala. With the theme “In America: A Lexicon of Fashion,” the red carpet looks ranged from Old Hollywood to camp to everything in between. However, there are some stars who truly caught our attention, and in the best way.

Here are our best dressed picks at this year’s Met Gala:

Billie Eilish

First on our list is co-chair for this year’s Met Gala, Billie Eilish. Known for her oversized ensembles, the singer turned heads as she walked the red carpet in a gorgeous ball gown by Oscar de la Renta. Matched with her blonde bob and dark black eyeliner look, Billie Eilish is giving Marilyn Monroe a run for her money.

Karlie Kloss

While many stars wore red to this year’s Met Gala, it was Karlie Kloss who caught our attention. She donned a Carolina Herrera dress that featured rose-shaped ruffles that went all the way to her sleeves and a long train. Completed with her rose clutch, the model is truly the lady in red for this year’s gala.

Iman

Did someone say show-stopping? Well, Iman certainly got the memo! Wearing a golden feathered ensemble by Harris Reed in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana, the model definitely has one of the most eye-catching looks at this year’s Met Gala.

Kendall Jenner

Wearing a gem-embellished sheer dress, Kendall Jenner looked like a total stunner at this year’s Gala. Inspired by Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady, the Givenchy dress had rhinestones cascading from her shoulders, and featured sheer gloves. The model also wore a diamond collar to complete her glamorous look.

Emily Blunt

Emily Blunt is giving us some goddess vibes with her 2021 Met Gala look! Wearing a custom Miu Miu dress, the actress stunned in sparkly silver. She added a white cape and a star-studded headpiece that completed her look.

Rihanna

Is a Met Gala best dressed list really a list without Rihanna? The much awaited arrival of the talented multi-hyphenate definitely did not disappoint all the fashion lovers. Wearing a black Balenciaga ensemble, Rihanna showed why she’s the queen of the red carpet. Her look was completed by jewelry from Telma West and a Tyler Ellis bag.

Zoe Kravitz

Zoe Kravitz has taken naked dress to the next level. She wore a bejeweled mesh Yves Saint Laurent dress to the red carpet, and landed herself in our best dressed list. The barely-there dress is designed with interlocking YSL logos that she paired with a—of course—a barely-there bra and sparkly lingerie.

Cynthia Erivo

Donning a Moschino dress, award winning star Cynthia Erivo is serving major fashion looks at this year’s Met Gala. She wore a cream colored top that covered her chest, and matched it with a long skirt. Her look was completed with some eye-catching diamond jewelry by Roberto Coin, and her diamond covered nails.

Carey Mulligan

Pretty in pink! Opting for a Barbie pink gown and cape from Valentino, Carey Mulligan looked gorgeous as she walked the Met Gala red carpet alongside Whoopi Goldberg and designer Pier Paolo Piccioli. The actress gave off old Hollywood vibes with her fringe neatly swept to the side with her ponytail.

Anna Wintour

Last on our list is Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. She’s definitely had some major fashion looks throughout the years, and this year was no different. The fashion icon donned a floral Oscar de la Renta gown lined with ruffles and a ruffled train. Florals for fall? A resounding YES.
