The most awaited night in the universe has finally ended and everyone who watched it all unfold was charmed as this year’s queens graced the stage with their beauty and charisma. There’s no doubt that each woman made the night shine brighter as they walked in their gorgeous evening gowns.
To wrap up the night, we listed down seven evening gowns that certainly caught our attention.
USA
Made by Filipino designer Rian Fernandez, Miss USA, who is now the newly crowned Miss Universe, was donned in a sultry embellished gown. There’s no doubt that this piece had such heavy detailing consisting of metal studs that decorate the shoulders, blue sapphire Swarovski stones cascading down her bodice, and tiers of black mirror drops that fall down to the hem.
Haiti
Miss Haiti showed up in an intricate number as her gown featured several cutouts. From the bust to the waist, fine gold threads wrapped around her torso while a high slit went up to her hips.
Venezuela
We can’t deny the eye-catching symmetrical design Miss Venezuela had for her evening gown. Gorgeous hues of blues paired with gold trimmings that trailed down her figure—it’s as if an architectural piece merged with fashion.
South Africa
Miss South Africa wore her nation on her sleeves as the colors represent the vibrancy of her country and the beauty of their land. Meticulous patterns decorate the whole gown and cape, while her plunging silhouette was adorned with colorful stones.
Panama
Seemingly simple at first glance, but it’s the beading of the gown that makes her evening look beautiful. Against the white material, silver and white embellishments swirl around her gown from her neckline down to the hem.
Curacao
A change of hues takes place in Miss Curacao’s look. Within the plunging neckline, we see the detailing was done with silver and light blue trimmings. But as it goes down to her thighs, the hues switch to a charming purple.
Vietnam
Swirls of silver sequins elegantly cascade down Miss Vietnam’s silhouette. The pattern of the embellishments create such fluidity in her look while a subtle pink was added to highlight the flow of her gown.
