Yesterday, we gave a rundown on what to expect on the fanciful German expedition for #MakingMEGA and finally, the wait is over—tonight marks its official premiere with February cover stars, Maymay Entrata and Edward Barber. The entire project was like a semblance of a dream with the noteworthy duo transforming into royalty—clad in whimsical ensembles and creating their own version of a fairytale.
Tonight, for the much-anticipated screening at SM Aura Premier’s IMAX theater, the love team stayed true to the documentary’s concept—showing up in stately ensembles that were nothing short of regal.
Maymay arrived looking every bit Gala-worthy in a custom Mark Bumgarner ballgown. The feather-like embellishments that cascaded from the skin-baring bodice was fitting for the superstar. Flanking Maymay was her stalwart prince Edward who gave a fresh take on evening wear with his shawl neck, cable knit jacket—fitting for the premiere of their Making MEGA fairytale.
Of course the details will not go unseen. The gold and silver stitching on Maymay’s gown added a majestic touch to her lavender assemblage and matched up with a pearl-embellished clutch that took high shine to the next level. Edward, on the other hand, had golden brooches attached on his knit top piece that reminded us of burnished crests straight from the Game of Thrones universe.
With that in mind, expect to see more exqusite sartorial pieces with Mayward strutting in the chimerical landscapes of Germany in their fantastical journey with the Making MEGA team.
