Maricel Soriano is out, and Kinang Inay is in! The Diamond Star did a Drag Race parody on her latest upload with no other than the drag mother herself, Xilhouete
If there is one thing you need to know about Maricel Soriano besides her stellar performance as an actor, it is her support and love for the LGBTQ+ community. From holding no judgment to her gay friends and family members to going out of her way to meet fans-turned-friends like Vice Ganda, Marya is truly the mother of all.
In her latest vlog upload, the actress finally took on the drag challenge with a special parody of Drag Race with one of her so-called children, Drag Race finalist, Xilhouete. The two went head-to-head with a makeup transformation, a special photoshoot, and of course, the lip-sync battle.
Maricel channeled her drag persona, Kinang Inay, through a fiery, Ariana Grande-inspired look courtesy of Drag Den queen, Shewarma. After their photoshoot, she and Xilhouete lip-synced to the remix of Maricel’s famous lines.
After the Drag Race parody stint hosted by Baus Rufo, the two sat down for a Q&A wherein they revealed their long relationship as mother and child for years. Xilhouete even recalled that they spent one Valentine’s Day together.
