Margaret Zhang’s latest collaboration with The SM Store had the young multi-hyphenate directing, shooting, modeling, styling herself for the campaign. To officially launch the fashioniSM campaign, SM held a style talk with Zhang in SM Makati. Drawing industry mavens and fans alike, Margaret Zhang talked about her style philosophy and how it evolved over time. Aside from her impeccably styled suit look, what really stuck with us surprisingly was her bold beauty look that day—matching fiery pink ombré lips and eyes.
We talked with one of the country’s top makeup artists, Anthea Bueno, who created her pink beauty look that day. To get the look which perfectly complementing her bright, pink hair, start off with a mixture of Laura Mercier Candleglow Foundation with Koh Gen Do foundation and a bit of Laura Mercier Sheer Perfecting Powder.
When it came to highlighting, Anthea used two products: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne liquid highlighter topped with the golden shade from Dior Backstage Highlight Palette.
And finally, the pièce de résistance of the whole look—the eyes. Anthea used Laura Mercier Velour Extreme in Fire and On Point for the eyes and lips for maximum vibrancy. She then kept the cheeks clean and used little to no blush since the eyes were already loud and vibrant.
