Roses have become a long-standing symbol for love, passion, and inspiration. It is still a mystery as to how an ornate and delicate flower can carry out such emotion both in its beauty and scent. For an icon that has stood the test of time, Maison Francis Kurkdjian brings a contemporary way of wearing a rose with one of their iconic fragrances, À la rose. Now, Francis Kurkdjian reimagines the aura of the rose and unveils a new emotion with the eau de toilette variation in l’eau À la rose, a delicate fragrance that unfolds on the skin with its floral freshness.
To compose the fruity floral fragrance of l’eau À la rose, Francis Kurkdjian harnesses the fruity notes or pear and lychee from the Damascena rose oil from Bulgaria, and the floral notes with a touch of sweetness from the Centifolia rose absolute from Grasse. The marrying of these two roses from two distinct origins produces a subtle yet elegant scent.
More than just its scent, Francis Kurkdjian places an importance on the long-lasting sillage of l’eau À la rose. Its airy freshness, tangy facets, and white musks magnify the scent of four hundred freshly-bloomed roses, all in a drop of perfume.
