Described as a healing drama, the Netflix series follows the story of Yoon Hye-jin played by Shin Min-a, and Hong Du-sik played by Kim Seon-ho. Hye-jin, a young dentist, moves to the seaside village of Gongjin where she meets Hong Du-sik, or Chief Hong. Constantly crossing paths with each other, the two develop a friendship and give us squeal-inducing major kilig moments.

Can’t wait for the weekend? Here are some other shows to binge-watch while you wait for the next episode:

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo

If you’re all about the kilig, then this K-drama starring Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung should be number one on your watch list. Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo revolves around the story of college student and weight lifter Bok Joo who starts developing a crush on a weight loss doctor. Her childhood friend Joon Hyung, on the other hand, starts falling for her.

Oh My Venus

Want to see more of Shin Min-a? Then it’s time to add Oh My Venus to your list. This K-drama is about a 33 year old lawyer Kang Joo-Eun. After being broken up by her boyfriend of 15 years for gaining weight, she seeks help from well-known personal trainer Kim Young-Ho, portrayed by So Ji-Sub, to lose weight and turn her life around.

Start-Up

Start-up is a must-watch if you can’t get enough of Kim Seon-Ho’s charms. Set in a fictional town called “Sandbox,” the k-drama follows the story of 4 characters: Seo Dal-mi, Han Ji-pyeong, Nam Do-san, and Won In-jae. Seo Dal-mi, played by Bae Suzy, dreams of becoming like Steve Jobs, and works with her first love, an investor, and a business genius.

Suspicious Partner

If you love crime shows and romcoms, then Suspicious Partner is the show for you. Starring Ji Chang-wook and Nam Ji-hyun, the series revolves around Noh Ji-wook, a prosecutor, and Eun Bong-hee, his intern. Bong-hee becomes the prime suspect in a murder case, but they work together to clear her name and solve the case. Through this, they find out just how connected they truly are.

On The Wings Of Love

Of course, we have to put some Pinoy teleseryes on this list too! And who could ever forget the OTWOL fever? The first of James Reid and Nadine Lustre in a teleserye, On The Wings Of Love proved to be the drama and kilig-filled show everyone loved. It follows the story of Leah Olivar, who married Clark Medina, to get a green card and fulfill her late mother’s American dream.

Got To Believe

Another memorable Filipino dramatic romcom is Got To Believe. Starring Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, the story revolved around Joaquin, who has a brain injury, and Chichay, a happy go lucky girl. Hired as his nanny, the two starts an unpleasant relationship that later turned into something more.

Forevermore

While it may seem like the cliche bad-boy-and-good-girl type of drama, Forevermore still deserves to be on this list. The story follows the love story of Xander and Agnes, who met in a very unexpected way. From there, Xander is welcomed by the people of La Presa, and falls in love with Agnes.
