“Maraming Nilalaman Puso Ko.” Kris Aquino Shares First Post 40 Days After Noynoy’s Death

It’s been 40 days since the death of former President Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, but it’s still definitely a fresh wound for the Aquino family.

In her first post solely dedicated to her brother, Kris Aquino aired out her sentiments on Instagram and why it took her a while to say her piece on social media.

The Queen Of All Media began her 2AM post by pointing out that their mother, Cory Aquino, died at the same hour.

She furthered that people ought to be wondering why the actress had been radio silent and even refused to give interviews, but she explained that “now is still not the right time for me… naghihintay pa ko ng ‘go signal’ from [Noynoy].”

“I know my brother will find a way to let bunso know when it’s time for all of you to hear the story from me of our journey—simply because all of you are a very special part of our journey, one I believe is a continuing one.”

The 4-minute video featured snippets of the late president’s wake, along with clips of his life as a public servant.

Kris continued to thank their supporters for continuing to pray for Noynoy, and how she and her sisters are thankful for those who’ve grieved for their only brother.

“Though still so painful, we know how blessed we were to have been born as the children of Ninoy and Cory, and the sisters of Noynoy Aquino,” she concluded.

The actress had been mum for the whole month of July, as her last posts of June chronicle moments in Noynoy’s wake.
