The 25-year old blockbuster and digital superstar dares to leap into a future we all gladly welcome

Who else can say that they have starred in the Philippines’ top two highest-grossing films of all time other than Kathryn Bernardo? With her lauded success as Joy Fabregas in Hello, Love, Goodbye last 2019, and playing the captivating role of George in The Hows of Us in 2018, Kathryn has cemented herself as one of the industry’s most talented. At just 25 years old, the modern-day young adult is not afraid to get unapologetically real as she hustles in pursuit of success and fulfilment. From bagging Best Actress wins from numerous award-giving bodies, to receiving recognitions internationally such as claiming a spot in Forbes Asia’s 100 Digital Stars list, Kathryn is always teeming with game-changing ideas to not only elevate her craft, but also to elicit change as we head into a new era of digital.

Recently, Kathryn embarked on a new digital series with her long-time partner Daniel Padilla in The House Arrest of Us, playing off the stay-at-home regulations as a result of the pandemic, ultimately blurring the lines between what’s real and fictional. And just last month, the series jumped up to Netflix and claimed its famed top spot in Most Watched. From live auditions to online portfolios and content creation, Kathryn’s daily grind in show business has greatly transitioned to digital–where everything is stored in the cloud and accessed on smartphones. Placing full trust in this digital future makes Kathryn the perfect embodiment of a similarly youthful and innovative smartphone brand, realme.

“I think ‘yung [digital future], doon naman tayo lahat papunta and alam naman natin na hindi iyon secret sa atin lahat, na lahat talaga ay digital na. I think wala namang masama doon and may mga product na tinutulungan tayo, to help us prepare kung ano ang mangyayari like three to five years from now, and lalo ngayon with the pandemic na hindi tayo makakalabas,” Kathryn shared in an interview. “My generation saw the dawn of the internet and the shift to digital. Iba na the expectations from young adults like me today. As we aim to perform and deliver better, we need brands like realme that can help us adopt a highly digital lifestyle,” she added.

Kathryn Bernardo and realme share the same passions for a bright digital future

With two decades of experience in the entertainment industry, Kathryn has seen its progression from noontime variety shows, primetime hits, blockbuster screenings, and now on-demand content. With content that is seemingly omnipresent in our digital spheres, Kathryn and realme have aligned on the goal of making these readily available to everyone: “I am happy na I am now part of a brand that has the vision of making digital lifestyle experience more accessible to all Filipinos,” Kathryn shared.

Being always-digital is that mindset everyone must practice starting today. It’s inevitable–we are taking a huge leap into the new era of digital with highly-capable and easily-accessible technology. And as realme is bent on making more possibilities come true for the Filipino youth, push yourself further and always dare to be better than you were before. Just as how Kathryn continuously adds to her repertoire of skills, make everyday an opportunity to break boundaries, with your head held high and a smartphone in hand to accompany you along the way.
