K-Pop idol Jimin includes global ambassador for Dior as his latest solo venture
It’s nothing but a complete shock if someone you come across hasn’t heard of the name BTS. The K-Pop group that debuted in 2010 have constantly been setting standards and making records in the music industry, clearly proving that the Hallyu wave is not to be set aside.
While BTS is currently on hiatus from group activities, the members are still making their presence known through solo albums, collaborations with other artists, and even partnerships with fashion brands, similar to that of other K-Pop artists like BLACKPINK’s Lisa with Celine and TWICE’s Nayeon with Louis Vuitton.

The latest K-Pop star that has joined the roster of ambassadors in the world of luxury fashion is BTS’ Jimin with Dior. Revealed just today, Dior stated that they are thrilled to announce Jimin as their newest global ambassador. In the official release, the BTS vocalist is clad in refreshing hues of teal and army green—pieces from the House’s Summer 2023 collection. Meanwhile, he was also photographed in a dark green turtleneck pullover and a beige button down.
However, this isn’t the first time that Dior has collaborated with Jimin as Artistic Director Kim Jones designed BTS’ stage wear for their Love Yourself world tour in 2019. The sketches that were shared by Kim Jones himself consisted of a variety of bomber jackets, cargo pants, and army boots—perfectly capturing the power of the BTS army.
With this partnership between two powerhouse names in the fashion and music industries, it’s only a matter of time until we see great things come to life.
