Jelly Eugenio and His Muses are Serving the Modern-Day Vampire Saga

Warning: These bloody beautiful looks that came from the mind of Makeup Artist Jelly Eugenio are not for the faint-hearted.

When everybody thought that Jelly Eugenio’s Disco Heaven delivered the highest intensity of a Halloween concept, that was not the case. Following the brilliant portrayal of the disco vibe, his glamorous muses kick it up a notch by slaying the gory, messy, and bloody Halloween theme.

If it wasn’t for the iconic collaboration of Jelly Eugenio and the entire creative team behind Disco Heaven, together with the most beautiful women in the industry, we’re sure the epic blood-soaking saga might not have even happened, but clearly, there’s no stopping them this Halloween.

Leaning in to Jelly’s interest in seeing a glam and gore combination look, the entire concept came to him while he was doing his usual exercises on a random day. As he was running in place on the treadmill, he was able to imagine the looks and layouts, while being very particular about the muses that he wanted. And because it was in time for Halloween, he knew there had to be blood.

While trying to explain the story behind the concept, Jelly also looked back and remembered a video he watched when he was still a student. The video called Skin, Sin & Bones presented a photoshoot concept where fellow collaborators BJ Pascual and Eldzs Mejia were the Photographer and Art Director, respectively. At the time, Jelly was so inspired to relive it that he even presented a school requirement with a similar concept. But now that the three of them have finally crossed paths and have established their names in the industry, this was indeed a dream project for Jelly that was a long time coming.

The hypnotizing features of Jelly’s muses—Nadine Lustre, Catriona Gray, Ivana Alawi, Kylie Verzosa, Nicole Cordoves, and Siobhan Moylan—give the bloody yet beautiful mess a liberated feel of gore, but it’s only fitting that they take it a step further to show just the right amount of sultriness. It’s truly a portrayal that brings so much drama this Halloween season—besides, what’s Halloween without a little bit of blood?
