As statement accessories take over our quarantine fits, we spoke to local jewelry designer Janina Dizon about her brand, inspiration, and future plans.
It was in 2008 that Janina Dizon opened her own store at The Peninsula Manila, and her brand has grown since. Started by her grandmother, the local jewelry brand further flourished in the hands of her mother, Jul Dizon—and so, JANINA for Jul Dizon was born.
“From the curve of the face, to art, even through toys. I like pushing boundaries and mixing Asian and Western sensibilities.” Janina Dizon shares when asked about her inspiration. A third generation jeweller, it seems Janina Dizon only has eyes on the prize.
