More than five years since his first album, Palm Dreams, James Reid‘s life chronicles has only been documented through interviews, occasional music releases, and Instagram posts. Always been the type to forward something real and true, James expresses his thoughts best through music.
Over the past few years, James has never really given us his full perspective (through music, at least) on his growth that sprung from being in a relationship, and was fueled through moving on from one.
But the drought is soon to be over! Last August, James finally dropped the announcement that LOVESCENE—his second album under his label—is finally coming this October.

With the month coming just right around the corner, James has been slowly teasing what LOVESCENE is all about.
First, he just released a single called “u & i” that dropped yesterday, September 29.
Ever the generous idol himself, James also surprised the fans with a music video for the track. Filipino-American international model Kelsey Merritt took on the role of the artist’s love interest.
Before the premiere of u & i, James went live on TikTok to talk about his new album. He spilled that LOVESCENE is all about love—its beginning and its ending.
In his pursuit to connect with artists through collaborations, the Careless Man also shared that The Rose member Woosung is featured in his track called “Hold On Tight”.
Meanwhile, fans also spotted James’s name in the track list of the band’s new album.
