It’s Scorpio Season: Here Are The Sexiest Movies To Watch

By

With Scorpio season finally here, we round up the sexiest movies to watch now. Fair warning: It might get a little steamy from here on out.

There are now shorter days, colder nights, and spooky Halloween costumes all over our timelines. Do you know what that means? Scorpio season has begun. It’s not new that Scorpios are often associated with sex, and the reason behind that is because they’re known to always have intense passion and resilience. In fact, whether you like it or not, they have extremely prickly, often polarizing personas, which they magnificently use to their advantage during their shining sensual moments. So, trust us when we say their piercing stare will be the most intense memory you’ll ever have.

However, as it’s also their season, what does that mean for all other signs? Well, just expect that everyone will feel hot and bothered, and (somehow) become strangely alluring. That’s why we only saw it fitting to compile some of the sexiest movies that may actually get you in the mood for… love. Here are five of the sexiest movies out there that’s perfect to watch this season.

Fifty Shades Trilogy

If you read the book, you know for a fact how erotic the story of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele is—from their vanilla sex to intense ass spanking, and some of the BDSM fantasies of the readers came to life as we witnessed Ms. Steele’s submissive attitude towards Mr. Grey’s dominance in the film. So, if you’re interested in exploring the world of BDSM, this is one way to slowly get a glimpse of it.

Call Me By Your Name

Set in the summer of 1983 in Lombardy, Italy, the adaptation of Call Me By Your Name to film magnificently depicts a relationship of two men that’s both lovely and erotic. As The Guardian described the film, it was  pure “sophisticated sensuality.” And it’s true, because Elio and Oliver unabashedly gave us the nostalgia of what true first love actually felt—bittersweet yet liberating.

Magic Mike XXL

From male stripping, sexy pelvic thrusts, to a buffet of toned six-packs, Magic Mike is the movie that’s perfect for the ladies and gays. It consists of these sleek choreographed dance routines where they start out in uniforms until they strip into just wearing (gasp) thongs—now that’s a sight to see. But setting aside all the sultry routines of these characters, you’ll be surprised at the plot as you’ll realize it’s not just about stripping; it’s about getting (and eventually living) the American dream.

The Duke of Burgundy

The Duke of Burgundy is such a stylish and sensual movie. Now, while the title says “duke,” there aren’t any. There are only two female leads who actually have a salacious midnight affair. Hence, it gives the film this imaginative dissident and effortlessly conveys a unique voyeuristic experience to the audience. Perhaps that’s why the critics’ consensus of Rotten Tomatoes said the film “proves that erotic cinema can have genuine substance.”

No Other Woman

If there’s a Filipino romantic drama with a hint of explicitness, the first film that comes to mind would be No Other Woman. Apart from the undeniable sultry physique of Anne Curtis, Cristine Reyes, and of course, Derek Ramsey, their hysterical love triangle will definitely take you for a ride—all thanks to their witty dialogue. But as there are several provocative scenes, keep in mind what Anne said: “don’t you dare fall in love.”

Cruel Intentions

Cruel Intentions is a wicked tale of seduction and betrayal where two wealthy manipulative teenagers from an elite Manhattan prep school made a wager–and that is to devirginize the new headmaster’s daughter before the term starts. So, as the stakes eventually become higher, this film will definitely play with your head. After all, this is a sexual conquest without consequences. And believe us when we say this film was a major coming-of-age catalyst for many.

Y Tu Mama Tambien

You know that time during our puberty when we are ruled by our raging hormones? Well, Y Tu Mama Tambien shows exactly that. The lives of Julio and Tenoch, who are just like every other 17-year old boys, have solid friendships, but also this craving to rush into adulthood. So, over the course of summer, the two best friends meet an older, much-liberated woman that gives them what they were longing for, and perhaps even more.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

Mr. and Mrs. Smith

If you’re in a stagnant relationship, what do you do? You know that it’s high time to spice it up. And this is actually what happens for Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They initially thought the other just has a normal life, but in reality, it is the complete opposite. The fact is, each has been hiding a secret from the other, it being that they are assassins working for adversarial agencies. Until finally, they were tasked to do something they didn’t expect. What’s that? Well, that’s for you to know, agent. But here’s a half spoiler: that fight scene still makes our spine tingle to this day.

Closer

Closer

Closer is a film that perfectly portrays the unconventional relationships of four unlikable characters. As they screw each other with each other’s love lives back and forth, they also have these severely casual betrayals. It has this brutal topic involving sex and love. Although, it magnificently captured all of the vulnerability and acerbic flirtation that will want you to continue watching, while slowly but surely moving you.

Eyes Wide Shut

Eyes wide shut

It was after learning his wife’s flirtatious behavior, Dr. Harford (played by Tom Cruise) went on a sexual odyssey. And only after several less than successful encounters when he finally me an old friend, who in turn led him to discover strange sexual parties aka orgies. At the party, all the men wore masks while women were all young and beautiful. But eventually, he was notified that he’s in deep trouble which means he needs to extricate himself from the sex cult.
