After months of speculation, it has officially been confirmed that Maris Racal and Rico Blanco are in a relationship and very much happy together.
During a press conference for the ABS-CBN series Maalala Mo Kaya, the 23-year old actress was asked for her status with the 46-year old Rivermaya member.
“Kami po ni Rico. I think basing po sa post na ginawa ko po, I think it’s very obvious. Right now, we are very excited and busy din. We are preparing such beautiful music together. Kaya abangan nila ‘yon soon,” Maris acclaimed, officially sealing the score between the pair.
The two artists have been shying away from revealing their status after rumors started from Maris’ sweet birthday Instagram post for Rico last March 17.
In the post, the two can be seen dueting to the song Brighter Than Sunshine and singing along to the striking lines: Let the rain fall, I don’t care / I’m yours, and suddenly you’re mine/ Suddenly, you’re mine; And it’s brighter than sunshine.
