With June 21 as International Yoga Day, we’ve rounded up the inspirational showbiz names to get you moving and finally try yoga. There’s no time like the present, so get your mats and join these celebs!

Maxene Magalona-Mananquil

Maxene has been a longtime advocate of mindful living and utilizing yoga and meditation to live a better life. She and musician husband Rob Mananquil are also certified yoga teachers.

“Some people think that I only practice yoga for physical purposes,” Maxene had shared on her yogi journey. “And while it is true that I started doing it 3 years ago to lose weight and tone my body, I do it now for more important reasons: one of which is healing and releasing my past traumas.”

“I didn’t know this back then but evidently, yoga is very beneficial for people with mental health conditions especially those who are trauma survivors,” she added, calling the practice a “gift from above.”

Kylie Padilla

Through her journey of healing and enlightenment, Kylie turned to physical exercise along with uplifting her higher self through mindfulness.

The mommy of one started her yoga journey through prenatal exercises when she was pregnant with son Alas, and now it’s part of her routine along with meditation.

Aubrey Miles

As a lifelong fitspiration, Aubrey Miles has tried her hand at almost every workout in the book—and that certainly extends to the sacred practice of yoga!

Though the 43-year-old has been posting more of her core and cardio workouts, she once stated that “thankfully yoga will never judge” even if you haven’t practiced in a while.

Bianca King

Serving as another fierce advocate of slow and mindful living, Bianca King consistently inspires her fans to practice meditation and being one with the present. Truly, her Instagram feed is a go-to to be reminded to take it easy and be here now.

Solenn Heussaff
