Here’s How You Can Wear Pantone’s Color Of The Year: Living Coral

2019 is all about having a positive outlook—whether in life, career, love or family. And as the Pantone Color Institute declared that the color of the year is Living Coral, it reminds us that we should never neglect our “innate need for optimism and joyful pursuits.”

Pantone 16-1546 Living Coral is technically described as a “coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge.” Its vibrant yet mellow tone is “evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of color.”

Because of its vivifying color, the organization’s Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman shared that it acts as an “equalizing lens through which we experience our natural and digital realities.” It proves that the hue has the ability to mesmerize the body and mind. Hence, it will effortlessly look beautiful on anything—your surroundings, on the screens of your gadgets, or as you wear it.

Since it’s already established and we have now removed a preconceived notion that the color is limited to certain skin colors, start your year fresh with an overflowing positivity and exude the engaging nature of Living Coral. From Prada, Fendi, to Michael Kors, here are a few inspirations on how you can wear Pantone’s color of the year.
