Let’s face it, denim is arguably the most versatile piece to style. You can style it up, by wearing heels and blazers, or inject a street edge to it by wearing sneakers and edgy tops. At this point, we all know how to wear our denim–– or do we? During the Levi’s 501 Day held in Yes Please, we saw our favorite influencers wear their denim in interestingly new ways. On the day of the event, all the guests were encouraged to rework and redesign their favorite 501 jeans. They had work stations for their accredited Levi’s sewers onsite in Yes Please to have the customizations done in real time. The result was a total creative explosion from all of the top influencers in the Metro. Here are a few who were able to style their denim in the best way possible.
Killa Kush
Rework your denim into a top
We love a sustainable queen! Killa Kush wore her denim as a reworked lace up top. She matched it with Levi’s 501 jeans. Her look gave the right amount of casual sexiness for a night out.
EJ Nacion
Match your jeans with a cut up top
Fashion influencer, EJ Nation, made sure to turn up in a look. He paired his 501s with a cutout top and exposed a bit of his underwear band for the night. It’s giving Bella Hadid model off duty realness.
Issa Pressman
Surprise them with the basics
The star of the night was definitely artist and singer, Issa Pressman. She was one of the chosen artists to add a bit of Pinoy flair to the 501 jeans. She was also the cover girl for the Nylon x Levi’s fanzine. The artist opted to go minimal with a basic white tee and her jeans.
Jach Manere
Denim vests are definitely back in style
Model, Jach Manere, attended 501 Day in a chic long denim vest, which she paired with a nude skirt and t-shirt. She was ready to dance all night in her comfy look. Who knew the denim vest could look so good.
Lois Gutierrez
Customize those jeans
Entrepreneur, Lois Gutierrez, showed off her customized Levi’s 501 jeans in the Photo Booth as she placed it across her shoulder. Gutierrez wore an all black look for the night.
