What Trends Should You Wear Next From Paris Fashion Week S/S 2020

By

Rounding off the month-long runway shows all across the globe, Paris Fashion Week finally sets the style trends we’ll be wearing next season to stone.

The spring/summer 2020 runway shows are finally over, which only means that all the style trends for next season are set. With every fashion moment possible, we’ve seen how various designers in NYFW majestically infused an eclectic 80s throwback to their collections, and then over at Milan, we witnessed Jennifer Lopez sensationally closing the Versace show in her now iconic, internet-breaking jungle-printed dress. So, to fittingly end the back-breaking and heel-punishing fashion month, we took the liberty to put together all the hottest trends at Paris Fashion Week S/S 2020.

Lacework

Lacework is one of the freshest trends for spring/summer 2020, as seen on the runways of Celine and Alexander McQueen. If you’re planning to chill at your lake house or attend a beautiful beach wedding, it’s the best time to don lacey white numbers.

Bralets

Own the next season with an unapologetic attitude, because bralets will surely be a statement-making staple. We’ve seen the likes of supermodel Kaia Gerber dominating the runway of Givenchy in a dainty colored bra top. Loewe, on the other hand, fused the lacework trend with an edgy take on the bralets.

Candy Colors

If you have a sweet tooth, then you’re just in luck, because it looks like that we’ll all be sashaying the streets in decadent, mouth-watering ensembles. Take the right style hues from storied fashion houses like Valentino and Louis Vuitton with a pink taffeta dress and a mint green suit ensemble, respectively.

Ruffles

It looks like ruffles will be overthrowing fringes by 2020. From Dries Van Noten’s lovely one-sided ruffle accent to Giambattista Valli’s boho-chic ruffled dress, next season is all about making a frill-tastic moment. The great thing about this is regardless of the ruffle’s size, the frills can effortlessly amp up your look with the right amount of whimsy.

Micro Shorts

It’s summer for style’s sake! Show some skin and flaunt your gorgeous legs as you cool down wearing micro shorts. But just a word of caution: Don’t forget to keep things sophisticated by pairing it with exquisite shirts or blazers and breathtaking jewelry. Jot down the right style notes from Chanel and Saint Laurent.
