H&M Studio’s SS19 Collection Lets You Walk Into The Wild Side In Glam

H&M Studio appropriately imagines a “glamorous globetrotting nomad” as their muse for the newest collection.

Culling inspiration from exotic destinations such as the mineral evaporation ponds in Utah and the rainbow mountains in Peru, the H&M Studio SS19 collection mimics colors, shapes, and textures that are present in these places. With Bianca Jagger and Anjelica Huston leading the pack of “glamorous globetrotting nomads” as muses, the collection includes easy, standout statement pieces with strong sport-utility features.

“With H&M Studio S/S ‘19, we wanted to capture the free-spirited day to night glamour-mood of a collection, which is made for a modern, continent-crossing lifestyle,” French stylist and editor Geraldine Saglio, creative consultant for the collection, shares. “It’s that relaxed decadence that fuels this H&M Studio Collection.”

Inspired by the colors from the red canyon landscape, Angelica Grimborg, H&M’s Studio Concept designer shares that the collection’s starting point was a photograph of the Potash evaporation ponds in Utah. ” it got us thinking about escapism and wanderlust,” she adds.

H&M Studio SS19 collection lets you dress up and make a statement while giving you the ease to wear the pieces in any given condition. Find an array of white cotton shirts and safari separates, such as khaki jackets dominate the offering, alongside high glamour sequins, rainbow-hued prints, as well as metallic utility cover-ups in it—all focused on zebra prints. With a complete and well-thought-of line targeted for the wanderlust in all of us, the Studio Collection undoubtedly wants us to indulge on a memorable journey.
