Right after unveiling its capsule collection with British textile house JP & J Baker last month, we are in for a treat once more as H&M releases another collection which combines 50s silhouettes and 90s aesthetic of the favorite cult series Twin Peaks.
Drawing inspiration from David Lynch’s 90s hit-series, the dream logic aesthetic of H&M’s Autumn/Winter 2018 collection features ladylike statement pieces and borrowed-from-the-boys wardrobe classics.
To add to the 50s silhouettes, the fast-fashion brand channels the 50s movie icons in their era-defining looks highlighting sculpted wool dresses and nipped-in coated cotton trench coats, and grunge-infused viscose-silk suits.
With the Swedish retail giant’s play between feminine options fused with mannish details and classic pieces that invites everyone to evoke their own distinctive look, swipe right to see the whole collection and pull-off a neo-noir chic look:
The collection, which comprises clothing, shoes and accessories, will be available online and in selected stores and exclusively in H&M Greenbelt in the Philippines from 6 September.
