Adherent to the its ode of bringing highly fashionable bags and further items, Hermès has finally entered the beauty industry with its first ever collection, Rouge Hermès, which devotes to delivering more beautiful lips. “Hermès Beauty is part of who we are: a house where everything comes from creation, driven by artisans who seek to accompany the men and women of today with elegance, and with the integrity and authenticity that we represent,” shares Hermès CEO Axel Dumas.
Each of the 24 sophisticated selection of Hermès lipsticks was built with lacquered, brushed, and polished metal in black, white or permabrass gold assembled by hand. The sensual and fine texture of the sticks deposit highly pigmented color in every single glide, finishing with a matte or satin coat and all goes down to its signature orange box.

With the know-hows of Hermès Perfume & Beauty CEO Agnès de Villers and Pierre-Alexis Dumas, the Hermès Beauty characterizes the iconic luxury brand in its overall creative direction. From a collaborative work to a perfectly curated Hermès lipstick, Hermès jewellery and Hermès shoes creative director Pierre Hardy designed the object, artistic director of the women’s universe and creative director of women’s silk Bali Barret contributed her vision of femininity and colour until creative director of Hermès Beauty Jérôme Touron turned this vision into makeup. Taking its final step, Director of Hermès’ olfactory creation Christine Nagel provided fragrance for the collection.
The Hermès Beauty is set to be revealed every six months from September 2020 until the complete makeup is created. The Rouge Hermès collection is available in select Hermès stores and retail outlets in 35 countries, and sold exclusively in Rustan’s Makati.
