Netflix curated Emily In Paris’ luxurious fashion pieces, and you can actually buy them
Before the much-anticipated return of the hit Netflix series, Emily In Paris,on December 22 Netflix and ViacomCBS open an online store to sell merchandise from top luxury brands featured on the show, andwill on sale at Netflix’s official website. It was fashion executive Mindy Lin Prugnaud and her husband Jean-Philippe that spearheaded this project and curated the product selection with their Paris-based fashion studio, Mint Group. Prugnaud and her group worked closely with costume designers Patricia Field and Marilyn Fitoussi to pick labels that reflect the luxurious wardrobe of what they describe as “French with a Hollywood twist.”
“The fashion in ‘Emily in Paris’ is as important as the main character,” Jose Castro, senior vice president of ViacomCBS Consumer Products said,“The fashion in ‘Emily in Paris’ is as important as the main character,” because according to him, “the wardrobe and the styling take front and center with the backdrop of Paris — the fashion capital of the world — it doesn’t get much better. It’s all elegantly weaved together to create a beautiful, dramatic storyline within the story itself.”
The participating brands include AZ Factory, Eye M by Ileana Makri and Zeus+Dione, along with other Chanel-owned specialty labels: Maison Michel for hats, Goossens Paris for jewelry and Causse Gantier for gloves. To give fans a glimpse of what’s in store for them if they are already itching to get their hands on these items, here are some of the fashion pieces featured in season two that will be on sale.
Chanel
The checkered jacket from Chanel worn by the main character, Lily Collins will be one of the many to look out for.
Zeus+Dione
You can also get your hands on these geometrically shaped sunglasses Lily is wearing from Zeus+Dione that we will see in season two.
Roberto Coin Jewelry
It’s not just Lily’s look that you can cop, but also her vivacious bestie, Mindy played by Ashley Park’s tasseled Roberto Coin earrings she had worn as seen on the previous photo.
Makri
The cord bracelets and necklaces spelling out “C’est la vie” from Makri will also be up on sale.
AZ factory
Among shoppable styles are silky pajamas from AZ Factory that we are yet to see on screen.
