BlackPink in your area: To celebrate BlackPink’s 5th anniversary, we’ve listed their 5 most iconic looks so far.

5 years ago, BlackPink entered our area (and our hearts) and we were never the same. From giving us hit after hit, to having a Netflix documentary to now releasing a movie to celebrate their 5th anniversary, the K-pop girl group has truly come a long way.

Not only have they proved their musical talents by being the biggest girl group in the world, their influence in fashion also can’t be denied. With Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé working as ambassadors for big names such as Chanel, Dior, Celine, and Saint Laurent respectively, they’ve cemented themselves not only as pop stars, but fashion inspirations and trendsetters.

In celebration of BlackPink’s 5th anniversary, we’ve listed their most iconic fashion looks so far:

Kill This Love Music Video

Our jaws dropped when we first watched BlackPink’s Kill This Love music video. Aside from the fact that its a killer pop song that showcased their impressive dance moves, it was also their ensembles that made us rewatch the music video a couple more times. One of which was their fighter ensemble, that gave us some Tomb Raider feel.

Coachella

A historic moment calls for iconic outfits. As the first ever K-pop girl group to perform in a U.S. festival, BlackPink knew they had to bring their A-game—and they didn’t disappoint. From their performances down to their sparkly monochrome ensembles, everyone at the festival, including stars like Will Smith and his family, were huge fans.

How You Like That Music Video

A groovy song, impressive dance moves, and killer outfits—the How You Like That music video has everything a BlackPink music video should have. While we were wishing we had their wardrobes, one caught our attention: their Hanboks. BlackPink took a traditional Hanbok to the next level by putting a chic and modern twist to it.

Lovesick Girls Music Video

As the third single from BlackPink’s first Korean studio album, the K-pop girl group went all out. Undoubtedly one of the most played songs of 2020 (and our playlists), BlackPink once again showcased their unique styles for the music video. From edgy to soft looks, the girls of BlackPink can definitely pull off anything.

BlackPink The Show

If there’s one thing we should know by now, its that BlackPink never does anything small—even with their virtual concert. At the end January of this year, the beloved K-pop girl group did a livestream concert on their Youtube channel, and blessed their fans with jaw dropping performances and of course, sartorial ensembles that made every fashionista wish they can steal BlackPink’s wardrobe.
